DO TAP, specializing in Rhythm Tap, is the only pre-professional tap dance company in the area and has performed throughout the Tri-County area, as well as at the Philadelphia Tap Festival, Philadelphia Youth Festival, Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, The National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Carnival Cruise line, The Kennedy Center, and at Lincoln Center! This year DO TAP is honored to perform on the Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall in January 2018.

Mackenzie Bauer is 14 years old and currently goes to Middle School West. She is in the 8th grade and has a love for dance and art. Mackenzie has been dancing since she was 4 and this will be her first year in DO TAP. Mackenzie’s favorite types of dance are tap, jazz, modern and ballet. She loves to read, sketch and listen to music in her free time. Mackenzie is very excited to have been chosen as a dancer of the DO TAP Company.
April Eickhoff has been dancing at Dance One since she was three years old. She currently studies tap, jazz, modern, ballet and hip-hop. This is April’s second year in DO Tap and DO Crew. She danced in Brooklyn’s RAW Festival, Hershey Park and Disney World. Outside of dance, she plays mellophone in marching band and French horn in concert band. April enjoys camping, playing with her two dogs, and hanging out with her friends. After high school, she would like to continue her dance education in college.
Laura Fiorani is a junior at Daniel Boone High School. She has been dancing at Dance One studios for 6 years. Laura has studied tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballet, and acro. This is her second year in DO TAP. Laura has attended masterclasses instructed by Dr. Netting, and also had the privilege to dance in Disney World. She loves preforming and can’t wait for all the opportunities DO TAP has to offer this year.
Zoe Herold is a junior at Daniel Boone High School. She has been dancing for fourteen years and been a student at Dance One Studio for twelve years. This will be Zoe’s fourth year in DO TAP and DOCBT, and first year as a member of DO CREW. Zoe studies tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. She has taken masterclasses with Dr. Netting, Tessa Netting, and the Martha Graham Dance Company; and performed at Disney World, Kutztown University, Dorney Park, and Hershey Park. Zoe has had the honor to dance alongside the Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine and the Penn State Lady Lionettes. In the future, Zoe hopes to pursue her dance career in college and beyond.
Lindsay Morrell began ballet and tap lessons at the age of 3 and quickly decided dancing, especially tap dancing, is awesome. She currently studies tap, jazz, and ballet. Lindsay has participated in master classes instructed by Dr. Leslie Netting and Ms. Tessa Netting. She has danced with Dance One Studios at Walt Disney World and Hershey Park. Lindsay plays piano and is a mallet percussionist for her school’s band. In addition to dancing, she enjoys crafting, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
Hannah Newcomb is 11 years old and in the 6th grade in Exeter Township School District. This is Hannah’s fifth year dancing and her first year at Dance One Studios. She studies ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and pointe, with tap and pointe being her favorites. Hannah has attended a master class with Dr. Leslie Netting and a modern master class instructed by Amy Marshall. Hannah loves to be on stage performing and is very excited and proud to be a part of the DO TAP and DOCBT companies this year. Outside of dance, Hannah loves to practice new nail, hair, and make-up techniques, hangout with friends and family, and watch YouTube. Hannah hopes to be a professional dancer and make-up artist in the future.
Samantha Zettl has been dancing since she has been 3 years old. Tap is her favorite style of dance, but also enjoys ballet, jazz, musical theatre and hip hop. She has performed in Disney World and attended master classes with Dr. Netting and Ms. Tessa Netting. Samantha loves to be on stage. Her aspiration is to continue with dance throughout her school years. If she isn’t dancing at home, you can catch her riding her motorcycle around the yard, or crafting. She is in love with life. She is honored to have been chosen and to be a part of DO TAP!
