DO CREW – Dance One Hip Hop Company

This pre-professional dance company ignites as they perform all types of hip hop and urban funk.  DO CREW has performed at The National Cherry Blossom Festival, and the Philadelphia Youth Festival.  DO CREW made their professional debut at the RAW Festival in NYC last year and performed at Carnegie Hall.  This year DO CREW is honored to perform at Lincoln Center in January 2019.

We are proud to announce the new company members for 2018 – 2019

 

Kristen Benoit attends Daniel Boone High School.  She has been dancing at Dance One Studios since the age of 4. Through the years she has taken hip hop, modern, tap, and jazz.  This is her third year in DO Crew and has danced in places like New York City and Disney World.

 

 

Abby Eagle has been dancing at Dance One Studios for 10 years.  She has had instruction in hip-hop, jazz, modern, tap, and ballet. This is Abby’s second year in DO Crew and she is very excited. She has performed with the studio in Disney World.  Abby is an 8th grade student at Pottstown Middle School.  She plays the drums and plays the drum set in her jazz band.  She likes to sing, read, and spend time with her puppy and family.

  

April Eickhoff has been dancing at Dance One since she was three years old.  She currently studies tap, jazz, modern, ballet and hip-hop.  This is April’s third year in DO Tap and DO Crew.  She danced in Brooklyn’s RAW Festival, Hershey Park and Disney World.  Outside of dance, she plays mellophone in marching band and French horn in concert band.  April enjoys camping, playing with her two dogs, and hanging out with her friends.  After high school, she would like to continue her dance education in college.

 

Cheyenne Fair has been dancing at Dance One for four years now. She takes hip hop, modern, and ballet. She is a student at Daniel Boone High School. In her free time she likes to watch movies and hang out with her friends. She’s very excited for the start of DO Crew this year and all of the upcoming performances.

 

Brooke Myers is a sophomore at Springford High School. She has been dancing for thirteen years at Dance One Studios and has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern and Pre-Pointe. This is Brooke’s third year in both DOCBT and DO CREW. Brooke has taken a Jazz workshop with Dr. Leslie Netting, and has performed at Disney World, Hershey Park, Artistry Unfolded, and Dance EXposure. Brooke is excited for the upcoming season performing with both companies. She plans to continue dancing through college. When she isn’t dancing, Brooke enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping and playing with her two dogs.

Ally Capone has been dancing at Dance One Studios for 4 years. She’s an 11th grader at Daniel Boone. Ally has studied ballet, modern, hip hop, and acro. She hopes one day to perform with Cirque du Soleil. Ally likes volleyball, basketball, tumbling and teaching her little cousin Addie acro tricks.

Rylee Carlson has been dancing at Dance One for 4 years. She has taken lessons in Hip-Hop and Modern. This her first year in Do Crew and she is very excited to perform at Lincoln Center. She is currently a sophomore at Owen J. Roberts High School. She takes part in Odyssey of the Mind for her high school. Rylee also enjoys horse-back riding and drawing in her free time. Rylee likes to play the piano every once in a while and she loves to spend time with friends, family, and pets.
