DO TAP, specializing in Rhythm Tap, is the only pre-professional tap dance company in the area and has performed throughout the Tri-County area, as well as at the Philadelphia Tap Festival, Philadelphia Youth Festival, Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, The National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Carnival Cruise line, The Kennedy Center, and at Carnegie Hall! Last year DO TAP was honored to perform at Lincoln Center in January 2019.

April Eickhoff has been dancing at Dance One since she was three years old. She currently studies tap, jazz, modern, ballet, hip hop and acrobatics. This is April’s fourth year in DO Tap and DO Crew. She danced in Brooklyn’s RAW Festival, Hershey Park, Kutztown University, Disney World, Carnegie Hall, Bethlehem Steel Stacks, Spring Up Dance Festival, Lincoln Center, Tap Ties, Philadelphia Youth Dance Fest, and Springdom Dance Showcase. She has taken masterclasses with Dr. Leslie Netting, Steven Vaughn, Jason Samuels Smith, Bril Barrett, Ray Hesslelink, Ian Berg, Shani “Virgo” Alston, Aaron Mitchell, Beau Hancock, Patricia Jones, and Karen Callaway-Williams. Outside of dance, she plays mellophone in the marching band and French horn in Wind Ensemble. April enjoys camping, playing with her two dogs and working at Limerick Veterinary Hospital¬. After high school, she would like to continue her dance education in college and become a dance teacher.
Rhys Lytle has been a dancer at Dance One Studios since she was 5 years old. She has studied many forms of dance including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Modern and Acrobatics. She has performed in the Nutcracker and at Walt Disney World twice with her dance friends. Rhys has trained in gymnastics since the age of 3 and is a competitive figure skater. She is a home-educated, middle-grader and is grateful to be a member of DOCBTII and DO TAP this year. She is excited for the growth opportunity, experiences and performances to come.
Hannah Newcomb is in 8th grade at Exeter Township Jr. High School. She has been dancing for 7 years studying ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. She has attended master classes with Dr Leslie Netting, Amy Marshall, Daniel Mayo, Steven Vaughan, Vanessa Sonon, and Camille Armstrong. Hannah has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kutztown University, the SpringUp Dance Festival, and the Labyrinth Dance Company. Hannah loves being on stage performing and is proud to be a part of both DO TAP and DOCBT for the third year. When not dancing, Hannah enjoys trying new make-up and nail techniques, hanging with friends, and playing with her cats. She hopes to be a make-up artist or professional dancer someday.
Katie Reilly, a 5th grader at Immaculate Conception Academy, has been dancing at Dance One Studios since she was three years old. She currently studies tap, jazz, hip hop and modern dance. She has performed in Walt Disney World and at Kutztown University. This is her first year in DO Tap and she is excited about the upcoming season! Outside of dance, Katie also sings and has had the opportunity to perform at the Statue of Liberty and on stage at Broadway’s Gershwin Theater as part of the Arts for Autism benefit concert. Katie enjoys drawing, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Phoebe Weber is currently a homeschooled 10th grader from Oley. She has been dancing with Dance One for more than 10 years, studying ballet, pointe, modern, tap & jazz. She is entering her third year with DOCBT II and has performed at Hershey Park, Disney, and the Lincoln Center; this year, she’s excited to be dancing with DO Tap for the first time as well. When she’s not dancing, she enjoys hanging out with friends, art, Dunkin’ and watching the Philadelphia Eagles.
